Table borders in my views

I have been trying to get rid of the border around my tabulated Views by looking into my theme CSS, but cant find it defined anywhere.  now i have to wonder if this table border comes from code within Views.  if so, this could be why i cant find out where the hell it is to get rid of it.  it makes things look like crap.
